Coach’s Notes
I thought today would be a good day to go over some basics in case you’re unfamiliar with how to read the sets and reps.
Take a look at the Bench Press sets and reps.
The first set is 5 reps at 50% of your Bench Press max. If you’re not sure of your max, no worries, take your best estimate (always better to guess too low than too high).
Next is a set of 3 at 65% and a set of 3 at 75%.
Finally, we have 3 x 2 @ 80%. This is read as 3 sets of 2 reps at 80%.
The other thing I want to mention when reading the sheet is the little ‘e’ that sometimes appears on sets and reps. This ‘e’ simply means ‘each side’. So Lateral Bridges in today’s workout is 2 sets of 10 reps on each side.
