4Barbell Challenge*

*Barbell Challenge – Grab a barbell. No need to add weight unless you really want a challenge. I would advise no more than a 10 on each side.

Start with 10 Overhead Presses. Immediately transition to 10 Front Raises. Then 10 Reverse Curls. Then 10 Upright Rows. Flip your hands around and do 10 regular Barbell Curls.

Now, start back at the top and do 7 reps of each exercise. Then 4 reps of each and, finally, 1 rep of each.

Here’s the kicker: Once you start, you CANNOT SIT THE BAR DOWN.

Added Bonus: Do this with a partner. Stay together. Neither can advance until all reps of the previous exercise have been completed.

Coach’s Notes

Starting with two explosive movements with Hang Power Clean and Trap Bar Pulls. Make sure to brace each rep and maintain great technique from the first set to the last set.

Then, 5 sets of 5 on Chin-ups. If that’s too easy of a day for you on Chin-ups, feel free to weighted.

Then to finish off the day, we’ve got our Barbell Challenge which I’ve detailed below. Prepare to light those shoulders and forearms on fire.
