Coach’s Notes
The headline for this one is two main lifts in one workout.
The sets and reps scheme for either lift – Deadlift and Back Squat – is not overly difficult, but the combination of hitting both lifts back-to-back is where the challenge lies.
If you’re wanting to push yourself, do it on the Back Squats.
You’ll be in a much better position cranking up the last couple of sets of squats if you’ve got some juice left in the tank, versus wrecking yourself on the Deadlifts and then compromising the quality of the squats to follow.
