Coach’s Notes
Let’s talk about the Snatch Complex. I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been wanting to incorporate more complexes into our Movement Prep and this Snatch Complex is one of my favorites.
Hang Muscle Snatch. BTN Press. Overhead Squat.
Hinging. Pressing. Bending.
Complexes are a great way to not only get ready for the big lifts to follow, but they’re a great way to practice movement patterns that will improve technique. They’re also a sneaky good way to sneak in extra volume without negatively affecting your big lifts.
Finally, depending on where you’re at ‘in shape’ wise, you may find they almost feel like cardio.
