Coach’s Notes
The idea today is to get in, get some good work in and get out to go enjoy some time with the family.
That’s coming in the form of some heavy Rack Pulls. Aim to start the bar at right about the knee (I’ll be placing the bar just below the knee). Brace hard and drive the floor.
Depending on where your weak points are in your Deadlift, you may find that you can move a little more weight than when you’re going from the floor or A LOT more weight than from the floor.
Make sure to make a mental note of that so you know where you can focus your effort to improve your pull going forward.
