Coach’s Notes
Biggest note today is on the Front Squats. On the 4 sets of 2 at 80%, the goal is to limit the rest to 1 minute in between sets. This makes them somewhat of a cluster set, although technically, that’s debatable.
It will, however, keep the tempo high and make those last couple sets pretty challenging.
Outside of the Front Squats, the lift is pretty straight forward on the assistance work. If you don’t have a medicine ball, you can sub in some weight crunches for the slams and seated twists for the Side Throws.
