Coach’s Notes
Today is a big day.
For starters, we’re working up to 85% for a single on Back Squat. This is a ‘dress rehearsal’ for (spoiler alert) Monday’s Squat PR Party. Ideally, that 85% should move really well. If it does, that’s a great sign that Monday is going to be a great day.
We’re following up the Back Squats with Deadlifts. They’re not heavy and that’s by design. We don’t want to completely destroy ourselves 4 days before going for a PR. They’re on the menu today to get in some additional posterior chain volume.
Same thought process for the Lunges as well. Keep the weight moderate. Get some good work in, but it doesn’t have to be crushing.
